
Tulsa Cross Country to Take on 34th Annual Chile Pepper Festival

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa men's and women's cross-country teams head to Fayetteville, Ark. to compete in the 34th Annual Chile Pepper Festival, hosted by the University of Arkansas.
The women will race first with a 4:30 p.m. 5k, with the men's 8k to follow afterward at 5.
The Tulsa men were ranked 5th in the latest USTFCCCA rankings after capturing fifth at the Cowboy Jamboree last weekend. It matches the school's highest ranking in a national poll.
Despite bringing 13 runners, the Tulsa men and women are running 10 unattached, meaning there will be no team score. After the Chile Pepper Festival, the Nuttycombe Invitational awaits on Oct. 14 before the AAC Championships on the 28th.
