TU Athletic Teams Begin Second Semester After Impressive Fall Academic Performance

TULSA, Okla. –– At the mid-way point of the academic year, success in the classroom for Tulsa student-athletes continues to be strong. A total of 230 Golden Hurricane student-athletes ended the fall semester with a 3.0 grade point average or better, including 84 with a 4.0 GPA.

A total of 14 Hurricane teams reached at least a 3.00 GPA during the fall semester. The men's tennis team's 3.73 GPA was the highest for a male sport, and a 3.67 GPA for women's track & field was the highest female sport grade point average.

TU students began the spring semester on Monday.
