Tulsa Captures 2-0 Win Over Central Arkansas

Leah Diaz and Jordan Frederick both scored a goal to give Tulsa a 2-0 win over Central Arkansas on Sunday afternoon at the Bill Stephens Track/Soccer Complex in Conway, Ark. The Golden Hurricane moved to 2-6 on the season, while the Bears fell to 1-5-2 overall.
Tulsa will return to action on Thursday, Sept. 14 against UTSA beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.
How it Happened
Leah Diaz put Tulsa on the board at the 39:34 mark as she punched in a free ball from 12 yards out up the middle. TU maintained the 1-0 advantage at halftime.
Jordan Frederick added a score in the 88th minute to give the Golden Hurricane the 2-0 win.
