Tulsa Golfers in Ninth Place at The Schooner Fall Classic

NORMAN, Okla. –– The Tulsa women golfers are in ninth place after two rounds at the 54-hole Schooner Fall Classic.The Hurricane carded a 3-over 283 at the par-70 Belmar Golf Course and has a 36-hole total of 4-over par 564.

Wake Forest leads the team race at 20-under par, followed by Virginia Tech, Houston, Florida State, and Oklahoma and Kansas State tied for fifth place. Only four strokes separate 9^th place Tulsa and 3^rd place Houston and Florida State.

Tulsa's Lilly Thomas is in sixth place with a total score of 4-under par 136 after her second straight round of 2-under par 68. Sophomore Grace Kilcrease is in 32^nd place after a second round even-par score of 70 for a 36-hole total of 143.

Freshman Allyn Stephens and junior Sydney Seigel are tied for 41^st at 144. Stephens carded a 3-over par 73 on Sunday, while Seigel turned in a 75 today.
Junior Lovisa Gunnar turned in a 2-over par 72 and has a score of 150 for 68^th place.

The tournament concludes on Monday with the final 18 holes.
