Tulsa Golfers in Ninth Place at The Schooner Fall Classic

NORMAN, Okla. –– The Tulsa women golfers are in ninth place after two rounds at the 54-hole Schooner Fall Classic.The Hurricane carded a 3-over 283 at the par-70 Belmar Golf Course and has a 36-hole total of 4-over par 564.
Wake Forest leads the team race at 20-under par, followed by Virginia Tech, Houston, Florida State, and Oklahoma and Kansas State tied for fifth place. Only four strokes separate 9th place Tulsa and 3rd place Houston and Florida State.
Tulsa's Lilly Thomas is in sixth place with a total score of 4-under par 136 after her second straight round of 2-under par 68. Sophomore Grace Kilcrease is in 32nd place after a second round even-par score of 70 for a 36-hole total of 143.
Freshman Allyn Stephens and junior Sydney Seigel are tied for 41st at 144. Stephens carded a 3-over par 73 on Sunday, while Seigel turned in a 75 today.
Junior Lovisa Gunnar turned in a 2-over par 72 and has a score of 150 for 68th place.
The tournament concludes on Monday with the final 18 holes.
