This will be the 19th meeting in the overall series, which ECU leads 5-9-4. The Hurricane is 3-3-1 when playing the Pirates in Tulsa. Tulsa has tied ECU three consecutive times, once in each of the last three seasons under Jim Rhein, and seeks its first win over the Pirates since 2018 (3-1)

ECU is 5-2-4 on the season and 2-1-1 in conference play for fourth place in the league.
Last time out, East Carolina tied the 49ers in Charlotte, 2-2, and shutout first-place North Texas at home, 3-0.

The Pirates' defense has been stout this season, ranking second in the AAC in goals allowed (8) and goals against average (0.73).

Week in and week out, junior forward Jordan Frederick continues to be the ultimate team player for the Golden Hurricane. She enters the game on Thursday 4th in the country with seven assists and ranks 15th for assists per game (0.58). Frederick leads The American in both benchmarks.

Frederick is also tied for sixth in program history with 17 career assists and needs two more assists to tie Melissa McCormick (1998-01) for the most assists in a season by a TU woman (9).

Sophomore Leah Diaz, a forward, is 14th in Division I with six assists and 32nd for assists per game (0.50). She also has six goals to her name, giving her a team-leading 18 points, which is also the second-best mark in the conference.

True freshman forward Blaine Schutte remains among the league's top scorers as she's tied for first in the AAC for goals (8) and goals per game (0.67).

Tatum Sanders, a junior goalkeeper, leads The American with 6.11 saves per game. She's also ranked 9th in program history in career saves (167).
