
American Cross Country Championships Moved up to Friday

IRVING, Texas – Due to anticipated severe weather in Wichita and in the interest of safety, the American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships, originally scheduled for the morning of Saturday, Nov. 2, has been moved up to Friday afternoon, Nov. 1, the league announced Tuesday. The meet will stream on ESPN+.
The Championships, hosted this year by Wichita State at the L.W. Clapp Memorial Park in Wichita, Kan., will kick off with the women's 6K 4:05 p.m. Central with the men's 8K to follow at 4:50 p.m. The awards ceremony will conclude the event at 5:30.
