INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Tulsa men's cross country team has been chosen as one of 13 teams to receive an at-large bid to the 2024 NCAA Men's Cross Country Championship. The big race will commence at 10:10 a.m. Central on Wisconsin's Zimmer Championship Course on Saturday, Nov. 23. The meet will start airing on ESPNU at 8:30 a.m.
The selection for Tulsa comes after a strong third-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Peoria in which the top four Golden Hurricane runners, including Chris McLeod, Shay McEvoy, Jaden Forester and Ben Brown swept spots 18-21 in the race to earn All-Midwest Region honors.
The Tulsa men have also been nationally ranked or receiving votes in every USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll this season, ranking as high as No. 28.
