Tulsa, INFLCR Launch Golden Hurricane Exchange

TULSA, Okla. –– Tulsa Golden Hurricane Athletics, in partnership with INFLCR, has launched the Golden Hurricane Exchange to connect student-athletes and businesses for name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities.

Golden Hurricane Exchange, a free service to both student-athletes and businesses, will provide a customized portal where businesses and student-athletes can communicate, negotiate, and enter NIL transactions.

"Since the inception of the NCAA's new NIL regulations, it has been our goal to provide TU student-athletes with the best tools to capitalize in the marketplace. Through our partnership with INFLCR, we're excited to launch the Golden Hurricane Exchange as a one-stop resource for businesses and sponsors to connect directly with our student-athletes," said Rick Dickson, Tulsa's vice president & director of athletics.

"The launch of the Golden Hurricane Exchange will empower Tulsa student-athletes to monetize their brands with NIL partnerships on a fee-free platform."

Registered businesses can search, filter, and initiate conversations directly with student-athletes regarding NIL opportunities. Student-athletes will be able to view all the businesses in the exchange and negotiate terms on any NIL deals they would like to pursue. INFLCR and The University of Tulsa are not a party to the negotiations.

Once the deal between a registered business and a student-athlete is finalized, a customized reporting form compliant with Oklahoma law and Tulsa NIL Guidelines will be forwarded to the university.

Golden Hurricane Exchange also includes a payment processing tool to securely pay student-athletes and create a 1099 form that lives in the student-athletes INFLCR app for more efficient tax reporting. The platform will continue to provide education on NIL issues, including financial literacy and brand building while providing market research and tracking social media growth and engagement.
