
Tulsa's Luke Adams Selected by Charlotte FC in MLS SuperDraft 2026

TULSA, Okla. – Charlotte FC drafted Tulsa defender Luke Adams on Thursday in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft 2026 with the 52nd pick.
Adams becomes the 14th player in program history to be drafted into Major League Soccer through either the SuperDraft, college draft, or supplemental draft.
A redshirt sophomore, Adams started all 15 matches during the 2024 season and made 13 starts this year. The McKinney, Texas, native was named the American Conference Defender of the Year in November after a standout campaign. He anchored the backline for five shutouts this season, helped limit opponents to just 23 goals, and scored the game-winning goal against Temple.
