249 Tulsa Student-Athletes and One Team Receive American Academic Awards

IRVING, Texas — The University of Tulsa had 249 student-athletes among its 17 intercollegiate sports earn American Conference all-academic team honors for the 2024-25 academic year, the league announced Wednesday.
Men's cross country (3.826 GPA) also earned Academic Excellence Awards, which was awarded to the institution in each conference-sponsored sport with the highest cumulative grade point average for the year.
To earn academic all-conference status, student-athletes must have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher for the current academic year, completing a minimum of two consecutive semesters of academic work with a minimum of 18 semester credit hours.
In 11 years as a league member, Tulsa has now had 2,237 student-athletes earn academic accolades since the school's first school year in the AAC in 2014-15, an average of 204 student-athletes each season.
