Moore Named American Conference Pitcher of the Week

IRVING, Texas — After a brilliant weekend in the circle at the Texan Classic, Maura Moore was named the American Conference Pitcher of the Week.
 
Moore was a true ace over the weekend for Tulsa, finishing the weekend 3-0 with a 1.15 ERA and 24 strikeouts in Stephenville. Moore opened the weekend with a win over Tarleton State, allowing just 1 ER in 6.1 IP against one of the best offenses in the country coming into the weekend. She followed that with 5.0 innings of relief in a win over Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, striking out 8. She capped the weekend with her best performance, striking out 11 and not allowing an earned run in a complete game win over Pitt, her fourth complete game of the season.
 
The Golden Hurricane are home this weekend for the first time this season for the Hurricane Invitational beginning on Friday.
