TULSA, Okla. – The NCAA announced the men's tennis championship selections Monday afternoon, with Tulsa earning an automatic bid as American Conference champions and drawing a first-round matchup against region host and No. 10 seed Baylor. The teams will face off at 6 p.m. CT at Hurd Tennis Center.

The NCAA Tournament is structured as a 64-team, single-elimination field, made up of 27 automatic bids and 37 at-large selections. Opening- and second-round play is set for May 1–2 at 16 regional sites nationwide, with four teams competing at each venue.

Teams that advance will move on to super regionals May 8–9, with the final eight squads heading to Athens to compete at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The quarterfinals are slated for May 14, followed by the semifinals on May 16 and the national title match on May 17.

Baylor enters the tournament at 22-9, most recently falling in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championships to TCU. Tulsa and Baylor met in January, with the Bears taking the match 4-0.

Tulsa's selection is its first since 2022. The selection marks the program's 20th NCAA Tournament berth under head coach Vince Westbrook.
