
Four Tulsa Tennis Players Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

TULSA, Okla. – College Sports Communicators announced the 2026 CSC Academic All-District Teams for men's and women's tennis, with Tulsa earning four total selections, including two honorees on each side. The award recognizes student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
Calum Jestin was also named a CSC Academic All-America finalist, advancing to the national ballot for consideration on the Academic All-America first, second or third team.
Women's Honorees
Maria Santos
Santos competed primarily in the No. 1 and No. 2 singles and doubles positions throughout the 2026 season. The senior recorded 11 singles victories and 12 doubles wins while clinching two matches for the Golden Hurricane.
Isabella Basson
Basson totaled 19 wins during the season, including nine singles victories and 10 doubles wins. The sophomore competed across the top three doubles positions and in the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots. Basson also clinched Tulsa's win over ECU in the American Conference Quarterfinals.
Men's Honorees
Connor Doig
Doig served as a key part of Tulsa's doubles lineup, competing at the No. 1 position throughout the season. The sophomore added six singles wins and clinched victories against Creighton and FAU.
Calum Jestin
Jestin posted nine doubles victories at the No. 1 position and won all but one of his completed singles matches during the 2026 season. He also secured the clinching point in Tulsa's win over ORU on Jan. 28 and boasts the highest GPA of the men's tennis squad.
