
Golden Hurricane Offense Kept Quiet on Friday in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. — Tulsa's offense was kept in check as they fell to Wichita State 7-1 on Friday at Wilkins Stadium.
Tulsa managed four hits and one run in the seventh inning, while Wichita State recorded 12 hits and seven runs.
Amber Turner led Tulsa with two hits in three at-bats, scoring one run. Preslee Ray contributed defensively with five assists. Maci Cole collected one hit and drove in a run with a two-out RBI opportunity.
Tulsa faced a challenging game against Wichita State, beginning with a two-run deficit in the first inning. Wichita State capitalized on a series of hits, including a single by Kammie Smith, which allowed Ausha Moore to score, followed by another RBI single by Johnna Schroeder.
