TAMPA, Fla. — Tulsa played South Fla. to a 0-0 tie on Sunday at Corbett Soccer Stadium.

Tulsa generated the larger shooting totals, finishing with 17 shots and eight on goal compared with nine shots and three on goal for USF, but the Bulls were credited with eight saves. Tulsa's opportunity volume included a 15-minute stretch with nine shots and two corners without a goal. On the other end, Carlito Saylon made three saves as Tulsa held USF without a goal. Three of Tulsa's four defensive starters played the entire match.

TU earned an early corner at :32, but the Bulls had the first sustained run of chances as Saylon saved Tyler Richardson's shot at 9:02 and Pedro Faife's attempt at 15:21 around two Diego Sanchez shots that missed the frame. Tulsa began to build its own chances after a 25:14 corner, with Arnau Pedrola Fortuny recording a shot at 29:15 and Luc Achermann-Stanfield forcing Alexis Martin into saves at 33:27 and 39:05. Achermann-Stanfield led the match in shots and shots on goal, with five and three, respectively. The half grew more physical during that stretch, with five fouls and a yellow card to Geoffrey Oyaka between 31:31 and 40:34. Tulsa closed with three corners in the final minutes, plus shots from Danny Stevens and Jared Aguilar, but Martin saved Aguilar's effort at 44:13 and the half ended scoreless.

Tulsa put USF under pressure early in the second half, earning corners at 45:53 and 46:09 before Achermann-Stanfield forced a save from Alexis Martin at 48:55 and another corner followed at 51:31. The push continued with five Tulsa shots from 56:29 to 58:25, including saved attempts by Kgodiso Sukati and Aguilar, and Tulsa later added two corners and five more shots between 65:41 and 74:42. Three Tulsa players fired three shots in the match: Aguilar, Sukati, and Pedrola Fortuny. The Bulls had a late cluster of four shots around 81:02, with Saylon saving Pedro Faife's attempt, before Will Applegate put Tulsa's final shot on frame at 89:00 in a 0-0 finish.

Tulsa is 3-2-3 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play. USF is 1-6-1 overall and 0-1-1 in conference play.
