NORMAN, Okla. – The Tulsa women's golf team finished in 10th place at the Schooner Fall Classic following Monday's final round at Belmar Golf Club.
"It was a tough week for the Golden Hurricane," remarked head coach Mike Roters. "We battled sickness all week. All five players had something, and we definitely were operating below 50 percent. I'm proud that every player finished and found a way to post a score for the team. This team embraced the mentality that I want to instill, and we will only come out better because of it."
The Golden Hurricane carded an 11-over-par 291 in the final round and completed the 54-hole tournament with rounds of 279, 282 and 291 for a 12-over-par total of 852. To view the complete final leaderboard, click here.
Jeanne Pagnier earned Tulsa's top individual finish, placing in a tie for 28th with an even-par total of 210. Pagnier closed the tournament with a one-over-par 71 after recording rounds of 72 and 67 over the opening two days.
Zoe Shamy delivered Tulsa's best round Monday with a one-under-par 69. She finished in 38th place at two-over 212 following rounds of 71, 72 and 69.
Samantha Olson tied for 46th place with a five-over-par total of 215. She opened the tournament with a three-under 67 before posting rounds of 71 and 77. Allyn Stephens tied for 55th at seven-over 217 after rounds of 71, 72 and 74, while Eva Kiri Fevzer tied for 78th at 13-over 223.
Competing as an individual, Sayers Allen closed with a three-over-par 73 and tied for 55th place. Allen finished the tournament at seven-over 217 following rounds of 69, 75 and 73.
