SENIOR (2009) -Â Started five of 16 games played . . . attempted two shots, one of which was on goal . . . helped post shutouts over Arkansas, Louisiana-Monroe, New Mexico, Houston, Rice and Southern Miss.
RED-SHIRT JUNIOR (2008) -Â Received a medical hardship . . . started in all five games played before suffering a season-ending injury . . . helped post a shutout over Southern, Arkansas and McNeese State.
JUNIOR (2007) -Â Played in three games . . . attempted one shot from her defender position.
SOPHOMORE (2006) -Â Started 18 of 19 games . . . had one shot on goal against Houston . . . named to the Cowgirl Classic All-Tournament Team . . . helped TU post shutouts against Oral Roberts (3-0), Georgia Southern (5-0) and Missouri State (1-0).
FRESHMAN (2005) -Â Started six of 19 games and attempted five shots . . . earned her first collegiate start against Tulane.
PRIOR TO TULSA -Â Was a four-year letterwinner at Ralston Valley High School . . . scored nine goals and registered 10 assists for 28 points as a senior and was an all-conference second team selection . . . named "Best of the Best-Defense" by the Rocky Mountain News during her final season . . . as a junior, she was named to the all-conference first team and received honorable mention all-state honors . . . led her team to four straight conference titles, a state semifinal showing in 2003, and a pair of state quarterfinal finishes in 2002 and 2004 . . . played eight years of club soccer for four different teams, including the Colorado Legends, Colorado Rush, Colorado Edge and Colorado Real . . . spent two seasons on the Colorado `86 ODP (2001, 2002) team and was a member of the state pool . . . led the Colorado Rush (2001) and the Colorado Legends (1999) to state runner-up finishes, and advanced to the state semifinals with the Colorado Real (2004), Colorado Edge (2003) and Colorado Rush (2000) . . . also earned two letters in track . . . was a member of the academic all-state first team in 2004.
PERSONAL -Â Majoring in communication . . . born October 6, 1986 . . . one of three children of Charles and Cheryl Cowles . . . named to the TU Athletic Director's Honor Roll and was a Conference USA Academic Honoree from 2005 to 2008.
