Adam Davis was named Assistant AD at The University of Tulsa in May of 2015 after being the Director of Athletic Performance since May of 2012.
 
Prior to Tulsa, Davis spent five years as a member of the Baylor University Athletic Performance Staff. During his final four years at Baylor, Davis served as the Bears' Associate Director of Athletic Performance. As associate director, Davis assisted with the football team, directed volleyball, served as the Director of the Iron Bear Club, and oversaw Football's Sports Nutrition Department. As Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, Davis assisted with football, directed volleyball, and assisted with nutrition department.

  • Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Illinois State
 
Davis earned his bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science in May 2004 from Luther College, where he was a four-year letterman on the football team. He received a master's degree from Illinois State in Exercise Physiology in May 2006.
 
Davis is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and USA Weightlifting (USAW) certified through the Olympic Weightlifting Committee.  
 
He and his wife, Alissa have two children: Maryn and Bennett.
