Skaggs joins the Tulsa Softball staff as a graduate assistant and a terrific five-year career as a member of the Golden Hurricane.
One of the most accomplished hitters in program history, Skaggs is a career .291 hitter with 24 home runs, tied for seventh in school history, 124 RBI, seventh in TU history, and her 39 doubles are sixth most by a Golden Hurricane. She also had 184 hits and 97 runs. She saved her best for last, earning First Team All-American Conference honors in her final season. Skaggs led Tulsa in batting average (.306), on-base plus slugging (.965), hits (52), home runs (10), RBI (36), runs (34), doubles (14), total bases (98), and slugging percentage (.576). She was also terrific in the field her final season after switching to first base just before the start of conference play. Skaggs would finish with a .993 fielding percentage at first after switching from third base.
