TULSA --Â A two-year letterwinner and starter . . . started 31 of 38 games.
JUNIOR (2006) -Â Did not play due to a career-ending injury.
SOPHOMORE (2005) --Â Started in 10 of 17 games and attempted four shots from her defender position . . . helped TU's defensive unit notch nine shutouts.
FRESHMAN (2004) --Â Started all 21 games during her rookie season and attempted two shots from her back line position . . . named TU's "Player of the Game" against Oral Roberts and UTEP.
PRIOR TO TULSA --Â Earned two letters at Carroll High School . . . did not play high school soccer her senior year . . . served as team captain and was a two-time all-district first team performer during the 2002 and 2003 campaigns at CHS . . . led her team to three straight district titles from 2001-03, and two consecutive regional championships and state semifinal appearances in 2001 and 2002 . . . played four years on the American Eagles Club Team and one season with the Sting Soccer Club . . . also lettered in track as a freshman and senior.
PERSONAL --Â Majoring in exercise sports science . . . born August 22, 1985 . . . one of two children of Mario and Pam Vitale . . . her brother, Michael, played golf at the University of Central Oklahoma . . . her father was a member of the Tulsa men's golf team in the early 1970s . . . named to the TU Athletic Director's Honor Roll and was a Conference USA Academic Honoree as a sophomore . . . during her junior campaign, was named to the TU Dean's List and was a C-USA All-Academic Honoree.
