Butler Leaves Tulsa's Football Operations Position

Mack Butler has resigned his position as director of football operations at The University of Tulsa, it was announced today by Head Coach Keith Burns.

Butler spent the past 12 years at Tulsa, including 11 seasons as an assistant football coach and last year as director of football operations. He joined the Tulsa coaching staff in 1989 from Northeastern A&M. He had coached the defensive secondary, tight ends and defensive ends during his tenure.

"Mack did a tremendous job handling our football operations. He was a huge source of knowledge and assistance in our transition as a new coaching staff this past year," said Burns.
