Baton Rouge, Louisiana - The Tulsa men's golf team is in second-place after rounds of 291 and 298 for a 13-over par 589 at the par-72 LSU Spring Invitational in Baton Rouge. Louisiana. The Hurricane trail first-place LSU by six strokes as the host Tigers carded rounds of 302 and 281 today for a seven-over par 583 total.

Tulsa freshman David Inglis shot rounds of 73-68 for a three-under par 141 total to pace the Hurricane and lead the tournament by two strokes over Rhode Island's Michael Sims. Fellow freshman Logan Goettsch shot rounds of 74 and 72 for a two-over par 146 and is in a six-way tie for sixth place.

Junior Kevin Henry scored rounds of 73-78 for a 30th-place performance of 151, while senior Shawn Matthews is one stroke behind at 152. Freshman Chris Noel scored a 154 total, while sophomore Billy Lowry, playing as an individual, scored a first round 74, but the second round of the day was called due to darkness. Lowry and 11 other golfers will resume play at 7:30 am on Tuesday morning, before the final round begins.

Rounding out the top-five schools are Rhode Island, Florida State and Texas-Arlington. Play will conclude on Tuesday with 18 holes.
