Parade Magazine All-American Jerome Janet Enrolls at Tulsa

Tulsa, Okla. - Janet will walk-on to the TU football team after leaving Kansas State University, where he signed a national letter-of-intent last February. He will be available to practice with the Golden Hurricane following completion of the proper medical tests and paperwork. Janet is not eligible to participate in games this season. His future eligibility status will be determined by the National Letter of Intent (NLI) Office.

The 5-foot, 11-inch wide receiver was the nation's eighth-ranked receiver prospect by Rivals.com website and was the fourth-rated overall prospect from the Midlands area by SuperPrep magazine. He was an all-metro and all-state selection by the Tulsa World as a senior, and was a two-time all-state pick by the Daily Oklahoman. Janet finished his career with 125 catches for 2,081 yards and 30 touchdowns, while catching 49 passes for 656 yards and 14 TDs in 2000.
