Tulsa Golfers Finishes in 10th Place at Ping Arizona Intercollegiate

Tucson, Arizona - The University of Tulsa men's golf team finished in 10th place in the 20-team field at the Ping Arizona Intercollegiate. The Hurricane shot a final round 289 on Tuesday for a 54-hole total of 864 at the par-71 Raven Golf Course.

Fellow WAC school Fresno State finished in first-place with a four-under par total of 848, followed by Oklahoma State (849), Pepperdine (852), New Mexico and Arizona (853) rounding out the top five finishers. Tulsa scored 288 and 291 in its first two rounds.

Tulsa sophomores David Inglis and Neil Trimm, and senior Kevin Henry shared the top spot for the Hurricane, finishing in 36th place with three round totals of four-over par 217. Inglis shot a round of 72, while Trimm and Henry each scored 74 today. Sophomore Chris Noel carded a 218 total after scoring Tulsa's best round of the day with a one-under par 70.

Junior Billy Lowry finished in 87th place with a 227 total, but turned in an impressive 73 for his final round.

The Hurricane will be back in action February 18-19, at the Matlock Invitational in Lakeland, Florida.
