Tulsa Golfers Finish in 11th Place at The Intercollegiate

Chapel Hill, NC - The Tulsa men's golf team finished in 11th place at The Intercollegiate golf tournament on Sunday at the Finley Golf Course. The Hurricane shot a final round 292 and finished with an eight-over par 872 score in the 12-team field.
Wake Forest captured the team title by carding a final round six-under par 282 for a 23-under par 841 total for the 54 holes, while their own Bill Haas grabbed individual medalist honors with a 13-under par 203 total.
For the Hurricane, sophomore David Inglis finished in 32nd place after carding a 77 today for a two-over par 218 total. A trio of Tulsa golfers finished in a 38th place tie with four-over par scores of 220. Those three included senior Kevin Henry and sophomore Chris Noel, both shooting a one-over par 73, while junior Billy Lowry turned in his best round of the year with a three-under par 69.
Sophomore Neil Trimm finished with a nine-over par 225 total after a round of 80 today and placed 55th overall.
The Hurricane will be in action next at the Western Athletic Conference Championships, April 24-26, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
