TU Men's Tennis Falls to Razorbacks, 4-3

Tulsa, Okla. - The 51st-ranked Tulsa men's tennis team fell 4-3 to 31st-ranked Arkansas tonight at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on The University of Tulsa campus.
TU's 19th-ranked doubles tandem, Dustin Taylor and Ryan Livesay, defeated the Razorback's Nathan Price and Eduardo Pacheco, 8-3. Alejandro Tejerina and Aleksander Charpantidis also earned a hard-fought victory, overcoming Arkansas' Rohan Gajjar and Matt Roberts, 8-6, to win the doubles point.
In single competition, Taylor continued his winning streak, defeating 57th-ranked Aleksey Bubis, 6-1, 7-6. He is now 7-0 during the Spring 2003 season and is 3-0 against ranked opponents. Netting a comeback win for the Golden Hurricane was Livesay, defeating 104th-ranked Pacheco, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
