Tulsa Football to Conduct First Spring Scrimmage on Saturday

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa football team will conclude its second week of spring drills on Saturday, April 5, with a scrimmage at Cascia Hall High School (2520 South Yorktown). The scrimmage, which will be Tulsa's eighth practice session of the 15-day spring drills, is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
First-year Head Coach Steve Kragthorpe has been pleased with the progress made during spring drills.
"We're still trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together, that's what spring football is all about. We're using spring drills to formulate a little better idea of where we're at going into the fall," said Kragthorpe. "As I've said before, the spring is only one-third of our preparation for the opener."
Tulsa will have an afternoon practice on Friday at Skelly Stadium before Saturday's first spring scrimmage.
