Tulsa's Black to Miss Remainder of the Football Season

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa Head Coach Steve Kragthorpe announced today that senior offensive guard Matt Black will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an ankle injury in Saturday's season opener at Minnesota.
Black, 6'3", 300-pounds, is a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter. He has started 22 career games including the Minnesota contest. Black started all 12 games last year and nine of 11 contests in 2001.
Black, who has played since his true freshman season, will return next season as a fifth-year senior.
