Indoor Track Season Opens at Arkansas Invitational

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa track teams will open their indoor seasons with a trip to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Arkansas Invitational on Friday, Jan. 17 at the Randal Tyson Track Center. A total of 15 teams are going to compete in the meet with six of those teams ranked in the top-25 according to Trackwire.
On the women's side, No. 1-ranked LSU headlines the event. Two other nationally ranked teams will be competing as well, Arkansas at No. 6 and Mississippi State at No. 24. In addition to Tulsa, other teams competing will be Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri Southern, Oklahoma State and Southwest Missouri State.
The TU men will also take on three nationally ranked teams, led by No. 1-ranked Arkansas. In addition the Razorbacks, No. 5 LSU and No. 23 Kansas will also be in attendance. Other teams competing in the meet include Missouri Southern, Mississippi and Southwest Missouri State.
