Tulsa Post-Game Notes vs. Boise State
• Tulsa's 42 points was the most given up by a Boise State team since its last conference loss at Louisiana Tech in the 2001 season.
• The 45 points given up by Tulsa is the most the Hurricane has allowed at home since allowing San Jose State 49 points on Nov. 16, 2002.
• Tulsa's Chris Kindred had his first punt blocked and returned for a touchdown. It was the third punt block this year against Tulsa.
• The last blocked punt against Tulsa returned for a touchdown came last year on November 1, 2003, by UTEP.
• Ashlan Davis returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. It was the fourth 100-yard kickoff return in Tulsa history. The last came in 1995 as Jason Jacoby ran one back against Brigham Young.
• Ashlan Davis' 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown was the first kickoff return for a TD since 1998 when John Mosley returned a kick 91 yards against Air Force.
• Boise State was the last of five bowl teams that Tulsa has faced in the first six games this year.
• Garrett Mills had 139 receiving yards for a career-high. It's his first career 100-yard receiving game and the first this year for a Tulsa receiver.
• James Kilian had his seventh career 200+ passing game, and the third of the season. It also marks the 10th time in his career that he has thrown for two or more touchdowns. It is his sixth career game with three TD passes.
• Kilian's 305 yards was a career-high, bettering his previous-best of 244 yards against Texas State last year. It was his first 300+ passing game in his collegiate career.
• Tulsa's defense forced two turnovers. It's only the second time this season that Tulsa defense forced multiple turnovers. The previous game came against Southwest Missouri State, when Tulsa intercepted two passes.
• Bobby Blackshire had his second interception of the season and of his career today, while Michael LeDet had his first interception of the year and the second of his career.
• Tulsa has now scored 35 or more points in six of nine home games in the last two seasons, and the fifth time to score over 40 points since last year.
• Tulsa's 21 third quarter points equals the most scored in one quarter this year, as Tulsa scored 21 points against Southwest Missouri State in the fourth quarter.
