Tulsa's Kilian and Mills Named to CoSIDA Academic Teams

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa had two players named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District VI Team as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Senior quarterback James Kilian earned first-team all-District honors, while junior tight end Garrett Mills was selected to the second team.
Kilian has a 3.49 grade point average in History, while Mills has a 3.86 GPA in management. Kilian is a three-time all-WAC Academic selection, while Mills is a two-time performer.
Kilian, a senior from Medford, Okla., has completed 53-percent of his passes for 2,024 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has also rushed for 258 yards and seven TDs. Kilian has career totals of 4,642 passing yards and 34 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,059 yards and 18 TDs.
Mills is Tulsa's leading receiver with 45 receptions for 521 yards and two touchdowns. He has career totals of 1,115 yards and 14 touchdowns on 108 catches in 35 career games. It marks the second straight year that Mills has earned second-team all-district accolades.
Since earning first-team all-district honors, Kilian is now eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
