  • In the last two games, the opponent has scored on their first possession of the game. Tulsa did not allow the opponent to score on their first possession in the first two games of the season.

  • For the second straight week Tulsa trailed at the end of the first quarter, 7-0. In Tulsa's first two games, the score was tied at the end of the first quarter.

  • Tulsa had its third multiple turnover game of the season. Tulsa had two turnovers in the first half for the second time this year. The previous time came in the season opener against Kansas.

  • Tulsa's Ashlan Davis blocked a punt and recovered it for a touchdown. The last blocked punt for a touchdown came against TCU on October 18, 1997, when Jason Jacoby blocked the punt and Philip Abode returned it 41 yards for a touchdown.

  • The last blocked punt for Tulsa came on November 2, 2002 against Rice, when Jerome Janet blocked the Rice punt in the fourth quarter.

  • Uril Parrish gained over 100 yards rushing. Parrish gained 117 yards on 22 carries. It was Tulsa's first 100-yard rusher since Eric Richardson gained 179 yards on 30 carries against San Jose State in the second last game a year ago (Nov. 22, 2003).

  • Parrish rushed for 100 yards for the second time in his career. His first 100-yard rushing game came against Nevada last year (10-18-03) when he rushed for 148 yards on 19 carries.

  • James Kilian had his ninth career game of passing for two or more touchdowns, and second this year. It was also his sixth 200+ passing game of his career and his second straight.

  • Clint Rountree had his second career interception.

  • Rountree's interception return for a touchdown marked the third straight season that a Tulsa defensive player has returned an interception for a touchdown. The last time came last year as Nick Bunting returned an interception 12 yards for a TD against Arkansas State.

  • Montiese Culton had his second career multiple touchdown receiving game. His previous multiple TD game came against Kansas in 2002 (3 TDs).

  • In the last eight games at Skelly Stadium (dating back to last year), Tulsa has now scored over 40 points four times.

  • Red-shirt freshman running back Cauvey Jackson rushed for a 16-yard touchdown on his first career carry.

  • The last time Tulsa went over 500 yards in total offense was last year against UTEP on Nov. 1, 2003. Tulsa's 513 yards is the most since gaining 530 yards against Texas State on Sept. 13, 2003.

  • Garrett Mills' 11 receptions is the most for a Tulsa player since Donald Shoals had 12 receptions against San Jose State on Oct. 27, 2001
