Tulsa Defeats New Mexico State

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - The Tulsa Golden Hurricane bounced back from their worst defeat of the season Monday night with an 83-63 win over New Mexico State in a non-conference game.
Anthony Price paced the Golden Hurricane with 17 points, while Jarius Glenn added 16 and Deion James scored 13.
Price scored 10 points in the first half, including Tulsa's first six points. He made 8-of-12 of his field goals and led the way with nine rebounds.
Tulsa (3-10) lost to Texas-El Paso 105-70 on Saturday night in a Western Athletic Conference contest.
Tulsa, which led the entire game Monday night, made more than 56 percent of its field goals and more than 72 percent of its 3-point shots. Tulsa led 39-23 at halftime and never was threatened by New Mexico State (4-10).
The Aggies were led by Duane John with 15 points and Allen Haynes with 14 points.
NMSU made only 28.6 percent of its field goals.
