
Green Agrees to Summer League Deal with Warriors

TULSA, Okla. — Former TU men's basketball player David Green has agreed to a deal with the Golden State Warriors for the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The league tips off on Thursday, July 9 with the Warriors slated to play the Dallas Mavericks at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
Green was terrific in his lone season at Tulsa, averaging 15.9 points per game to lead the team. He also finished second in rebounds at 4.6 per game and scored a team-leading 25 points against Auburn in the NIT Finals. Green earned First Team All-American Conference honors and was also named to the league's All-Newcomer Team. He was named to the NIT All-Tournament Team and was a two-time American Conference Player of the Week winner as well.
The Golden State Warriors reached the play-in round of the NBA playoffs, where they fell to the Phoenix Suns. The NBA Summer League takes place in Las Vegas on the campus of UNLV from July 9-19. All 30 teams will compete in a total of 76 games, with each team playing at least five games before a semifinal on July 18 with a championship game on July 19. All games will be aired on Prime Video or ESPN platforms. Green joins former teammate Miles Barnstable, who will play for the San Antonio Spurs, in the NBA Summer League.
