Schedule for Inaugural Legends College Classic Announced

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa will take on two highly touted teams as part of the Inaugural Texas Legends College Classic presented by Kia announced on July 21. The Golden Hurricane will open the event on December 19 against Utah State before facing San Francisco on December 21 in the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.
Utah State won the Mountain West Conference last season, going 29-7 before losing to No. 1 seeded Arizona in the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies finished 25th in the NET, pairing the top two teams in the NET from last season against each other on December 19. It'll be just the third all-time meeting between the programs and the first since 1966, with Tulsa holding a 2-0 advantage in the series.
The Golden Hurricane wrap up the event against San Francisco out of the West Coast Conference. The Dons won 17 games a year ago and have averaged 21.3 wins per season under head coach Chris Gerlufsen. The meeting in Frisco will be the first between the programs since 1965, with Tulsa holding a 2-0 lead in the series, winning both games in Tulsa.
