Fayetteville, Ark. - The University of Tulsa men's and women's track team continued their indoor season at Razorback Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas. Leading the way for the Golden Hurricane was sophomore Megan Langwell, who won the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:04.31.
Melanie Hardy was the next best finisher for TU as she placed fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:10.64. Hardy's time is the best-recorded time of the 2005 indoor season for Tulsa.
For the men, newcomer Jordan Hughes finished fourth, after running a 2:36.79, in the 1,000-meter run. DeVonne Harrison improved his 60-meter hurdle time of the year by running an 8.11 to finish sixth. In the 800-meter run, sophomore Clif Mitchell ran a 1:51.89 to finished sixth.
The Golden Hurricane track and field teams return to action Saturday, January 29, at the Jayhawk Invitational hosted by the University of Kansas.
