HONOLULU (AP) - Senior Jake Sottos scored a career-high 25 points to lead Hawaii to a 76-73 victory over Tulsa on Saturday night.

After trailing by as many as 12 points early in the second half, Hawaii (12-5, 4-5 Western Athletic Conference) went on an 18-2 run, sparked by 11 points from Sottos and five Tulsa turnovers, to take a 48-44 lead with just over 13 minutes to go.

Tulsa (4-14, 1-8 WAC) tied the game at 51 with 10 minutes remaining in the game, but Hawaii responded with an 11-5 run to take the lead for good.

Julian Sensley added 21 points and eight rebounds for Hawaii.

Tulsa led for much of the first half, using a 19-6 run midway through the first to go up by as many as 11 points and taking a 36-30 lead into halftime.

The Golden Hurricane then scored the first six points of the second half to open up their biggest lead of 12 points over the Rainbow Warriors.

Anthony Price led Tulsa with 23 points and Jarius Glenn added 15. Guilherme Teichmann had a double-double for the Golden Hurricane with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Hawaii tied its season-high with nine 3-pointers, five by Sottos.

The Rainbow Warriors shot 45 percent from beyond the 3-point arc, compared with the Golden Hurricane's 23.1 percent (3-of-13).
