Tulsa Post-Game Notes vs. Tulane • Tulsa captains were #9 Donnie Johnson, #20 Garrett Mills, #55 Nelson Coleman, #61 Jesse Stoneham.

• For the seventh time this season and the 21st time in 36 games over the last three seasons, Tulsa has gone over the 30-point plateau. Tulsa now has a 17-4 record when scoring 30 or more points.

• Juniors Jeff Perrett, an offensive tackle, and linebacker Nick Bunting increased their longest current active starting streaks to 33 straight games.

• Tulsa scored on its first play of the game on a 48-yard pass from Paul Smith to Ashlan Davis.

• Tulsa's first two scoring drives, the Hurricane amassed 108 yards on seven plays and two touchdowns. Tulsa totaled 98 yards on its first three pass completions of the game, and scored two TDs on its first four completed passes.

• Garrett Mills increased his streak of catching a pass in consecutive games to 38 games.

• Mills moved into eighth place on the school's career receiving chart with 2,185 yards, and ninth place on the school's single-season receiving list with 1,031 yards.

• Davis had his second career multiple TD game, but his first for receiving TDs. He had two TDs last year against Rice, one on a kickoff return and one on a reception.

• Paul Smith moved into sixth place in the school's single-season passing chart with 2,408 yards.

• Chris Chamberlain had his first career interception, while Terrel Nemons had his first career fumble recovery.

• Tulsa's defense has had two or more takeaways in the last 12 games dating back to last year's season finale against UTEP.

• The Hurricane defense forced three turnovers in the first half for the second time in the last three games, as Tulsa also had three first-half takeaways at UTEP. It also marked the fourth game this season that Tulsa had two or more first-half takeaways -- Minnesota (2), Oklahoma (2), UTEP (3) and Tulane (3).

• Tulsa's 28 first-half points was the most this season for the Hurricane, besting the previous best of 24 points at UTEP at halftime.

• Julian McGowan had his fourth interception in the last six games.

• Paul Smith had his eighth 200+ passing game of the season, the most since Gus Frerotte had nine in the 1993 season.
