Thurmond Moore Leaves Tulsa to Join UCLA Football Staff

Los Angeles, California - University of Tulsa cornerbacks coach Thurmond Moore has resigned his position with the Golden Hurricane to accept a position with the UCLA Bruins. Moore will coach the defensive line, announced UCLA head football coach Karl Dorrell.
Moore coached at Tulsa for one season. In the 2004 season, Tulsa ranked 22nd nationally in pass defense, allowing just 191.3 yards per game
Moore, a Sacramento (CA) native, has extensive experience on the defensive side of the ball, including coaching at a dozen collegiate football programs, several NFL internships and NFL Europe.
Before coming to Tulsa, Moore spent three seasons (2001-2003) as the defensive coordinator at the University of Buffalo.
