TU Football Spring Cruisin' Festival Scheduled for Tonight

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa football team will culminate its spring practice schedule with the "TU Football Spring Cruisin' Festival" tonight (Friday, April 15). The annual spring game will take on a festival-type atmosphere.
The game will start at 7:00 p.m. at Skelly Stadium, but festivities will begin at 5:00 pm on the TU campus. In the spirit of Route 66, on which the historic Skelly Stadium stands, fans are encouraged to join the festivities of the "TU Football Spring Cruisin' Festival". The festival will feature a classic and collector car showcase on display in the Donald W. Reynolds Center parking lot beginning at 5 pm. There will also be inflatable games for kids, vendors and tailgating opportunities set up on the east side of the stadium.
The Golden Hurricane football team will take the field at 6:30 pm for the Annual Spring Game whcih will begin at approximately 7 pm. Fans will be able to meet the team following the game.
Gates 3, 5, 6 and 7 will open at 5 pm.
Fans can get their "Kicks on Route 66" and enjoy an All-American good time with classic cars and great, food, fun and football. There is no admission charge.
