Tulsa Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale Next Week

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Single-game tickets for the 2005 University of Tulsa football season will go on sale next week. Fans can order tickets for any of the five home games beginning Saturday, August 13 online at www.tulsahurricane.com, or on Monday, Aug. 15 by phone or in person at the TU athletic ticket office. Tickets will go on sale beginning at 8:30 am on those respective days.

Single-game ticket costs range from $9 for end zone seating, $14 for seats between the 15-yard line and goal line and $22 for tickets between the 15-yard lines.

Tulsa opens the home season against the Minnesota Golden Gophers of the Big 10 on Thursday night, Sept. 1, in front of a nationally televised ESPN2 audience. The Minnesota contest is the first of five home games for the Hurricane in 2005. All fans are encouraged to WEAR BLUE for the season opener. Pre-game festivities and tailgating begins at 6 pm, while the game will kick-off at 9:15 pm.

Fans will see exciting football at Skelly Stadium again in 2005. In the last two years, Tulsa has averaged 35.6 points in 12 home games and has posted a 9-3 record.

Tulsa's inaugural league game as a member of Conference USA is Sept. 24, against the Memphis Tigers, led by Heisman Trophy candidate running back DeAngelo Williams. Houston, SMU and East Carolina round out the Hurricane home schedule.

Season tickets for the five-game Tulsa home schedule can still be purchased for as low as $45. Group ticket rates are also available for all home football games.
