Tulsa Opens Outdoor Track and Field Season at Home

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's and women's track teams will begin the 2006 outdoor campaign by hosting the Tulsa Duels at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium on Saturday, March 25, 2006. The field events will begin at 10:00 a.m., with running events starting at 12:45 p.m. There is no charge for admission.
Kansas, Missouri State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Wichita State and Tulsa will compete in the meet.
The Golden Hurricane is coming off a successful indoor season, as TU set six school records, including Thomas Stoltz, Heptathlon (4,507); Alex Becker, Mile Run (4:50.90); Women's Distance Medley Relay (11:42.25); Margaret Glover, Long Jump (19-1.25); Stephanie Jeffers, Shot Put (50-4.5); and Jeffers, Weight Throw (55-5.75).
