Memorial Service Set for Monday

Tulsa, Oklahoma - University of Tulsa football student-athlete Devin Adair died Friday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital. He was hospitalized a week ago with an illness.
A memorial service will take place on Monday night, May 1, at 8:30 pm in Sharp Chapel on the TU campus.
Adair, 21, from Manhattan Beach, California, came to The University of Tulsa at mid-semester. He was a junior college transfer from El Camino (Calif.) Junior College.
"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Devin. He was a tremendous young man with a bright future and will be deeply missed by the TU family," said TU Athletics Director Bubba Cunningham. "The University of Tulsa extends its deepest sympathies to his family, as our thoughts and prayers go out to them."
"Words cannot describe the grief and sadness the entire football program is feeling at this time. Even though Devin was at Tulsa for just a short time, he made a lasting impression upon all of us that had an opportunity to know him. He was an energetic and bright young man who will be greatly missed," said Head Coach Steve Kragthorpe.
