Nine Tulsa Student-Athletes to Compete at NCAA Midwest Regionals

Tulsa, Okla. - Nine student-athletes will represent The University of Tulsa at the NCAA Midwest Regionals on Friday-Saturday, May 26-27, in Austin, Texas. The competition, which is hosted by The University of Texas, will take place at the Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Qualifying for regionals this year for the TU women are Shameka Holloway in the 400-meter dash, Alex Becker in the 1,500-meter run, April Montgomery in the 400-meter hurdles, Stephanie Jeffers in the discus throw and shot put, Katy McGillen in the javelin throw, and Sophia Rodriguez in the triple jump.
On the men's side, Mathew Musengezi will compete in the 800-meter run, while Rickey Wilson Jr. will race in the 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles, and Thomas Stoltz will throw the javelin.
