Tulsa Single-Game Football Tickets Go On Sale

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Single-game tickets for the 2006 University of Tulsa football season go on sale this weekend online and Monday at the TU athletic ticket office. Fans can purchase single-game tickets to any of the six home games by going online at www.tulsahurricane.com beginning this Saturday, August 19. Fans can purchase single-game tickets by phone or in person at the Reynolds Center ticket office beginning Monday, Aug. 21. Tickets will go on sale beginning at 8:30 am on those respective days.
Single-game ticket costs range from $10 for end zone seating, $16 for seats between the 15-yard line and goal line and $24 for tickets between the 15-yard lines.
Tulsa is coming off a season that saw the Golden Hurricane post a 9-4 record, win the Conference USA Championship and claim a victory in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. The Hurricane returns 10 starters on a defense that was among the nation's top-5 in takeaways and seven starters to an offense that led C-USA in scoring with a 33.1 scoring average.
Tulsa opens the home season against Stephen F. Austin on Thursday night, August 31, at 6:00 pm. The Stephen F. Austin contest is the first of six home games for the Hurricane in 2006. Tulsa also hosts North Texas in non-conference action, as well as C-USA opponents Southern Miss and UTEP on national television (ESPN2) and Rice and Tulane.

Season tickets for the six-game Tulsa home schedule can still be purchased for as low as $54. Group ticket rates are also available for all home football games. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.tulsahurricane.com, stop by the TU athletic ticket office at the Donald W. Reynolds Center or call 631-GoTU (4688).
