Tulsa Women's Soccer Team Falls 1-0 to Rice

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Rice on Sunday afternoon at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane fell to 3-13-2 on the season and 1-6-1 in Conference USA, while the Owls moved to 10-5-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the league.
Freshman Korey Taylor knocked in a goal off an assist from Beth Martin at the 5:25 mark to give Rice the 1-0 win. This was the fourth goal of the season for Taylor.
The Owls out-shot Tulsa, 17-5, including an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Junior Kendall Harclerode began the contest, but classmate Rachel Robinson entered the contest at the 7:26 mark and picked up seven saves.
Tulsa will conclude the season next Friday, Nov. 2 against SMU. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Dallas.
