Hurricane Blows Past VCU, 4-0

Montgomery, Ala. - The University of Tulsa's men's tennis team (12-3) picked up a win in the second round of the Blue Gray Classic over Virginia Commonwealth, 4-0, on Friday afternoon in Montgomery, Ala.
Due to the rain delay on day one, the doubles were not played until after the singles competition and only if needed to decide the match.
TU's Ricardo Soriano opened the scoring with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Emil Lindgren, while No. 5-ranked Arnau Brugues pushed the Hurricane lead to 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over No. 82 Petr Olsak.
Diego Camacho gave TU a 3-0 lead with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Geoges Israel, and No. 120 Will Gray clinched the 4-0 win with a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 win over Damien Lacombe.
Tulsa will next face No. 7 Notre Dame at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
