Tulsa Falls Short Against Oklahoma State

Stillwater, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's tennis team (12-6) suffered it's third-straight loss on Tuesday as No. 17 Oklahoma State took a 5-2 decision in Stillwater, Okla.
Tulsa, ranked No. 32 in the nation in the ITA/Fila National Rankings, fell behind early after being swept in the doubles point.
The Hurricane evened the score when Ricardo Soriano avenged a loss from the fall with a 6-3, 6-4 win over No. 21 Ivan Puchkarov in the two position.
OSU moved ahead 2-1 when Dmytry Petrov defeated Will Gray, and two matches later the Cowboys clinched the match when Artie Burmistrau defeated Ross Cunningham.
TU did pick up a win in the final match of the day to finish, with Federico Soriano defeated Daniel Byrnes 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 to fashion the final score of 5-2.
Tulsa will be back in action on April 1 when it hosts South Alabama at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
