Christiansen, Clements Named to National Soccer Teams of the Week

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa sophomore Hunter Christiansen and junior Chris Clements were named to the Top Drawer Soccer and Soccer America National Teams of the Week, respectively, on September 5th.
The Golden Hurricane duo assisted the Tulsa men's soccer team to a 2-0 start to the season, as the Golden Hurricane posted a 3-1 victory over Wisconsin and a 2-1 overtime win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Middleton Sports & Fitness Invitational.
For their performances, both Christiansen and Clements were named to the all-tournament team, while Christiansen was named as the Offensive MVP and Clements was selected as the Defensive MVP of the tournament. Clements also picked up Conference USA Co-Defensive Player of the Week accolades for his efforts.
