Tulsa Coach Doug Wojcik Quotes
"Great win for us. A great atmosphere. You guys would know better than I would, was it shades of the past. I think it's certainly headed that way. I was realy pleased. The guys played great. You get up 15, and you know that they're going to make a run at us. Bryant did a great job of making three's throughout the game, especially in the first half with four three's/ He made that first one right in front of us, so we saw he'd a different level shooter. Brett did a nice job on him in the second half. I thought Ben id a nice job on Drca, and between Sam, Calvin and Jerome they did a nice job on Nevill throughout the game. Great contributions from everybody. I'm really excited -- 22 wins -- I'm really pleased with the team."

"Overall as a team, our free throw shooting was absolutely fantastic. I think we were 17of-17 at halftime, and to shoot 81-percent and actually get to the line 36 times. That was the key to the game for us. And they really did it."

Utah Coach Jim Boylen Quotes
"They make 18 field goals, we make, 19, we make 7 threes, they make four, they make 29 free throws, we make 15. So you can see that the difference in the game was at the free throw line. You have to give them credit. They got them and they made them. That's what good teams do. I want to give Tulsa credit. I think they have an improving jelling team. You want to be jelling at this time of year. I think they're playing great basketball. They were physical, they were competitive. We could never overcome that 15-point deficit. I was proud of my team the way we battled back. I thought we really battled. A play here, a play there, an in-and-out ball here, an in-and-out ball there, I think it's a different game. But, again, we got beat on the free throw line and got beat on the boards, and that's not a good thing when you're playing on the road. We did some good things. I'm proud of my group of guys. This team has had to learn how to win, learn how to play on the road, learn ohow to play with some toughness and grit."

At the end of the first half it went from 8 to 15 points?
"Yeah. That was real quick. That was like a blur. You have to give them credit for that. We missed shots. They made shots. They made three's. Timely three's for them was a big part of the game. They missed eight in a row one time, but they made timely three's to get the lead back to where it would be. I thought we quick-shot it at time. I thought we didn't play through contact at time and it hurt us."
